New Game on the way.
Well 99.99% of issues are worked out of the engine. It runs great with no music, and not to bad with music. So development has officially begun on the next game. It is typically vicious bytes policy to release very little information on any up coming game if any info at all until its released. But since i theorize no one who cares bout the games we make really reads this developer diary yet here for someone who does is a treat:

(still very cryptic as always)
The game we are making next is inspired by one of the games on this page:

I will even give another hint, iany of the games on the page based on a popular license.

Striving for perfection...
So there is a slight glitch with the main engine that in some instances makes the levels draw choppy. It is in fact hardly noticable but drove me bannana's after seeing the sample demo games I make do it. I investigated some and thought it was just my porting from the PC to the Zodiac or some other quark of working on the mobile device that caused this. I found out it is indeed a glitch in the pc engine too. So finally steps can be taken to faster nail down and rectify this issue.

After that things will move as smooth as butter in full 16bit 480x320 mode. I am also doing some in house tech demos, developing games that could be cool to use with a touch screen etc...

High time for an update.
Well, the first tech demo got done. Most the kinks in the Necro engine are worked out, minus one very slight one. I have demonstrated the engine can do things like side scroller, zeldaesque games and pretty much anything else we wan't to do. So now, we will be working on our other properties and seeing which one we want to turn into a full fledge game. I can say it won't be a remake, but it will be something unique and have our special brand of polish as always.
